Spartan Air Pressure Problems

My air pressure is going to high an pegging the needles Changed the air filter. What would cause that. 2012 ka.

Your issue sounds like either a problem with the air compressor system governor ( most probable ) or the gauges ( less probable that both gauges would fail at the same time ).
The governor is not an expensive item but if you don't have a full understanding of your chassis air system , maybe ; testing or replacement is best left to professionals.

My first step would be to use a stand-alone air pressure gauge to compare to the dash air gauges.

If you have a Cummins engine the . However if you have a Bendix air dryer the air governor is on the dryer unit. Pressure is adjustable(under blue cap).

Unless your safety relief valve is blowing off at max pressure, its not likely you need a governor. You would hear that.

More likely the gauges.
