Spartan Alpine Low Air 2 Warning Light

Hi All,
The Low Air 2 warning light stays on and I can hear an air leak behind the dash. The chassis airs up and the gauges for the rear and front air go beyond the 110 psi and seem to stay consistent with each other. Even with the gauges at 110 psi the warning light is on. I cannot yet tell you if it stays aired up when the engine is off, but doubt it given the air I hear. I tightened the air connection to the rear gauge, but did not air up to see if I could find the air leak behind the dash. Before I do that, has anyone had this issue with their motor home? Is there anything behind the dash other than air hoses to the gauges....like a control panel with sensors that would signal the light to turn on? Just wondering what to be on the lookout for.

As always, your thoughts and expertise are much appreciated!

Brian

The part leaking looks something like this.......

http://www.amazon.com/Viair-165-200-...7812145&sr=8-1

Ok, the air is leaking from a busted valve attached to one of the air manifolds under the dash. It looks like this one except there is only one screw to attach one wire on mine, not the two blades on this one. This is an air pressure switch, and mine is a single wire sensor....I guess. Anyone have any thoughts on this, and where to get a replacement? It is Saturday, so Spartan is closed. I'll try them first thing Monday.

Thanks again.

Try a NAPA truck parts store if one is near you. Sorry, only quick thing I can think of.
