Spartan Maintenance Kit
Has anyone acquired the Spartan chassis maintenance kit for a K2? We are looking into getting it for our 2021 Dutch Star 4081 on Spartan K2. Just curious if anyone has thoughts about this....

I have bought the kit and it is a great convenience if you don’t want to purchase every part separate. It is slight more expensive but you are paying for the ease.

I purchased the kit for the K3. Seemed like a similar price if you purchase everything separately. It was easier and everything was packed well for shipment.

We ordered a kit from Spartan for our K3. I'm sure you can source individual parts from multiple sources at better prices, but I wanted a ready source of correct parts available should we have an issue on the road. Would rather a service guy used my parts on the highway rather than have to get a tow.

I bought one years ago for my Spartan chassis under my '02 DSDP. Never used any of the parts.

Mr. D. I intend to have the shop doing my annual maintenance use my parts, and I will replenish from them those parts used. We are planning a trip to Spartan next year for their owners school and annual maint so I don't think they will have a problem cycling stock to keep kit fresh.

I bought one for my K3 Cornerstone. Picked the coach up in Nashville and took a trip to get MagnaShades installed and as a short test drive. On the way back to Nashville the fan drive belt disintegrated. Glad I had the kit. Took about 10 seconds to change and Spartan sent me a new belt.

Make sure your alignment is good on that belt, shouldn’t fail in that short amount of time. Also you can buy things in that kit at Amazon for half of what Spartan charges.

Every time an accessory drive belt is replaced the tensioner should also be replaced.
