Spartan MM air leak with pic

2003 Dutch Star, MM chassis. Air is leaking from the clear tube- fairly bad leak , during refuel have to wait to air-up before depart station- no issues while driving. Since it's attached to the leveling rod, I assume is the leveling valve and it needs to be replaced? Any advice on part numbers?

That is a Neway leveling valve, available at most any HDT parts store like NAPA. Far as I know all Spartan MM GT chassis use this valve for the front end. Why not just buy a length of clear air brake tubing to replace the busted one?

Well, honestly, I don't know how these things work. Air leaking from the bottom of the clear tube I would not have thought that the tube needed to be replaced. Thought the tube was for when the system dumped air and since the coach was fully aired up and air was coming from that tube that maybe the valve was bad but I have no idea. So, replacing the clear tube will fix this??

The clear tube on my 94 Mountain Master is the dump tube. If it is leaking air most likely the valve is sticking internally and leaking air. It is possible that something else is going on with the ride height linkage and it thinks that it needs to lower but my guess is replacing the leveler will fix it.

If you call Spartan and give them your VIN they can tell you the exact part number you need. Some of the part numbers they use are hard to cross reference but usually can be figured out with some research.

I was wrong, sorry. My air exhaust tubes are black and affected my thinking. That tube allows excess air to vent away when air pressure in the air spring is too high. (auto-leveling feature)
