What do you do when Spartan cant source your part...Question

Have a 2009 Phaeton and a critical suspension part needs replacing

This may be the tag axle or maybe not....might be the bag or not

Think i cant say tag because admin might take this post down it could be a duplicate post..or not

But when their part numbers dont work how do you go about finding the suspension part you need

Yes i know google and all the search engines out there

Need a bag and i guess so will others

If you know the answer please post it here

Spartan has been good one of their managers did his best to find the part but to no avail

Maybe someone out there has already replaced their bags and could give me a part number

Thks

Admin pls dont take this post down folks are going to need an answer on this

This from a quick google search: Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags...

I haven't checked for 3 years or so but when I looked for replacement bags for my Winnie, I did dig deep online until finding a generic brand that would work. As it turned out, I didn't need new bags as replacing the shocks did the trick as I had 3 bad shocks. I just researched bags "just in case".

I made a picture of the label the old bag, 30 minutes later 2 new ones arrived per courier.

Ofc in Spain, they're always that fast.

90% of all suspension parts were Aftermarket when the Body Builders installed them. A Decent Truck Shop can ID the bags, shocks, base articulation components and purchase from Warehousers.

Air bags are air bags. Nothing special about Spartan. Firestone makes bags for all makes of HD truck chassis. Go to a heavy duty truck repair shop. They can find an air bag for your coach.

I found mine here.....and a few years ago I had a very hard to source air spring on an older Bus Conversion MH, these guys were able to use the bag measurements and find one that worked.
