Dual Receiver for Bike Rack

I would like to put this Reese dual receiver on my motor home for a bike rack but am worried that the toad would be moved too far back. The holes on the dual receiver are 10" apart. The Blue OX tow bar pin now is only about 3-4 inches behind the MH. Would this work? Any better solution? I don't have a ladder.
