Rider Magazine best roads

I saw this on the motorcycle board this morning and thought I would share on the RV motorcycle board, just in case you have not seen it.

To these I would add US421 southeast from Bristol, TN (on the TN/KY line -- half of it is in KY) down to US321. Warning: once it gets into the mountains every mile is extremely dangerous. Vertical rock on one side, 1000-foot dropoffs on the other, no shoulders either side, no guardrails, hairpin switchbacks, extreme elevation changes, no sightline longer than about 150-200 feet. I rode it on a Suzuki VStrom 1000, one of the best choices for that ride, and I would not attempt it on my Indian Roadmaster. It is not a heavy cruiser road.

Also The Devil's Whip, NC 80 north from Pleasant Gardens, ENW of Ashville. It crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway and ends at Nowhere, Pinetree, Backward County. AKA Micaville, NC
