Thank you for your service!
I should have known that, thanks! Congrats on the Blue Knight patch in - fine group of LEO's and family from the few I've been around. When you start hearing wholly unsavory things about us Iron Warriors being outcasts and mischiefs, try to remember that the truth is always somewhat between the two extremes. Kind of like when we were rook's coming outta the academy...some got the street right away, the rest had to have it beat into them or they retired or moved behind a desk. Most of us were those guys and gals in the middle...you know the ones, the ones always writing the memo's that start " Dear Chief, no one was more surprised than me. . ." Usually closely followed by a informal personal chat with a shift Sergeant in the parking lot or break room.

IMHO, we're all part of that thin blue line, and being bikers makes us brothers and sisters several times over. But then, I'm just simple that way.

If you find yourself in South Florida, drop me a PM and you're welcome to ride with me, the group, or just a few of us, anytime. We Love to host out of towners - especially to and from the Keys.

If I find myself heading through Ocala in the near future I'll do the same. Meantime, be safe, ride well, and enjoy the National!

With as much controversy as there always seem to be from certain elements among the RV crowd, can you imagine unloading that from the back of a Toyhauler in your average RV park?

Hey Dan,
I have not heard anything bad about Iron Warriors, and thanks for the invite if I am down in South FL! Also Wilderness RV Park in Silver Springs, FL where I live has nice sites for rent and there is some nice ridding up here in the Forrest!

Awesome!
Owner has a Damon Challenger as I recall. Those bikes are so long I'm not sure they would fit inside your average toy hauler. Think medium short frame rail dragster.

They do catch peoples attention.

Where are all the Bikers

This one gave up his when he moved to SW Florida and bought a Motorhome. Having made it to 70 years and never dropping one I gave it up. Between the "excessive drinkers" and people that just should not have a license mowing bikes down, I figured my luck had ran it's course. So I sold my pride and joy.

Hey Big B,
Wow that sounded like a very nice rid for sure!

Hey Brockx,
That was a nice looking bike, and only you know for sure when it's time to give up the bike. As of now I hope for me that day won't come, LOL!

Contact them to know when they are doing rides. Or check the website, they do have them listed.

Thom and I are prior military and on Veteran's and Memorial day the only thing we have to do on those days is to go and have a drink for those that are serving or have served and cannot whether they are still here on earth or have gone on. We always lift a glass to remember why we have those days as holidays.

I am a PGR member in West Virginia (been a member for 8 years) one of the best missions I went on was a couple of years ago - we are a small branch and short notice missions we avg maybe 17 riders - the first time we were asked to escort the Vietnam traveling Memorial Wall was short notice - we were to meet at a Loves Truck Stop off I-77 south of Parkersburg - we ended up with over 150 riders showing up - Buddy the ride captain was worried about us taking over the Loves but as we were getting ready to go the PA speaker came on and the Manager of the Loves Thanked Us for picking her station to start our ride - in addition a Army Air National Guard Humvee was there to fill up with gas - they ended up joining our run and called ahead to their unit which happened to be a Helicopter Medivac unit - we got to our next stop which was a rest area to meet our WV State Police escort when a UH-60 started circling overhead - the Guard unit sent a helicopter to fly cover for us - it was the best mission I was on - the City of Parkersburg came out and lined the streets.Click image for larger version
