Where are all the Bikers

Where are all the Bikers, This forum is so quite. Anyone at Biketoberfest, had any good trips this summer. For DW Judy and I it was all local riding this year no trips do to some problems with our Classic 1978 Winnebago and a shortage of cash, Everything should be ready to go in the spring. So do tell what you did this year, Im living through your adventures this year. LOL Rick

Where are all of the bikers

We are here, but this is an RV site so not much bike talk. Plenty of bike action here in Cali.

Sitting here building a swivel trailer to haul the Harley behind the 5th wheel. Missed Biketoberfest this year but since I've been to everyone since it started I'm not too bummed. Made Panama city bike fest, Ohio on the river bike fest, Leesburg bike fest and bike week in Daytona this year. Here in Fl. everything is just starting up now....

After a 25 year or so absence from riding, SUNDAY my new-to-me '83 Kawasaki 1100LTD will arrive - too late in the season for much riding - but after a good Winter's checkout and miscellaneous maintenance, NEXT season should be very interesting - especially to a 75 year old biker re-tread!

Hey All,
Would love to be at Biketoberfest..some day maybe. From the west coast here and been to the Laughlin River Run, several Street Vibrations in Reno but I would have to agree the best "riding" was at a Sturgis rally. A differant ride every day with beautiful sites everywhere..nice.
Ride Safe............

Hi All,

Well in a 2 mile drive on Hwy 40 in Silver Springs I passed 65 bikes headed to Biketoberfest, so based on that I would say they should have a good crowd,LOL!!

Was going to go to biketoberfest but work got in the way, But that pays for the fun.
I'm planing for Panama Beach in May 2012,
Billieg, Where did you stay in Panama? and was it close to the rally. I want to be close. I was told (Campers Inn) or (Raccoon Park) any other cg close.

I can tell you where five of them are. They are in the hospital, three in Page Az. and two taken to hospitals in Utah.
Seems four of them stopped at the border sign to to take pictures and the fifth ran into them.

March, 2007, forced off road. Went over the handlebars, broke collar bone.

July 7, 2007, 50 mph down the highway. Pickup truck pulled out and broad sided me. Went 130 feet on pavement. Pictures are not pretty to post. Only broken bone was 5th metatarsal, right foot pinned under running board. I did ride the bike to a standstill.

First bike, Kawasaki Nomad, totaled. Purchased in April 2004. March 2007 had 64,000 miles on it.

Second bike purchased May, 2007, totaled, had 2000 miles on it. Full dressed Kawasaki Nomad, trunk, fairing, etc., specially modified by dealer.

Family made me promise from hospital bed I would not ride anymore. I miss the lifestyle. If you meet me, I'll show you scars.

Ya'll stay safe now, ya' hear.

Lone Star Rally, first weekend in November, Galveston, TX.
