17.5 inch standard on Cedar Creek 5th wheels ?

We just ordered a 2016 CC 36CKTS. I asked the dealer what the chance of upgrading the 16 " rims to 17.5" ...He talked to the factory rep who stated that all were now being shipped with 17.5 rims standard. They have made several changes to this line mid year...but can anyone confirm 17.5 rims and g rated tires as standard..This would go a long way in solving the main defect in mid line 5th wheels.

Contact Cedar Creek and ask them if this is true. I had a question and they answer this for me in two working days. here is the LINK. For VIN state that you are buying a unit.

I just contacted a rep. from Cedar Creek and here is what she said about the 17.5 inch tire

"I'm not sure where this rumor got started, but it is definitely not accurate. We have started using 17.5 tires and 8,000lb axles on the 38FL6 ONLY because of how heavy this unit is. This system is not standard or optional on any other floorplan."

The "rumor" got started when a new order for a 38FL6 came in to carolinarv and when the GM asked CC "why the 17.5?" the rep said "all the new ones come with 8K and 17.5" ...What he meant was "all" 38fl6 what the dealer heard was "all" CC. Like all bad info can be linked back to "a failure to communicate" I talked to Craig at CC and he straightened me out on mine...16" 7 K ):
