This is a 2001 Coachmen Aurora 3570 KS with two slides. the "KS" slide is the kitchen slide. I need parts but Lippert says its not their slide. I need the 15 tooth gear, shaft, and two brass bushings.

Well, 50 views and not replies! I guess no one has had slide problems.
I can't seem to source a gear from RBW, they are out of business. So I took the gear to a machine shop and they are going to weld new teeth on it and I will reuse it. I'll put pics on here in case someone else needs this help.
Dave,. I have a 2005 Aurora, same slide system as yours. Mine is a Power Gear System. If you hunt around on the internet you'll find info on how to locate what your looking for. But you have to be creative and patient. Have you tried used.. there is a large RV junkyard in Kentucky that would have the part your looking for.

Good Luck

I looked for the Power Gear and the RBW but did not find the exact part.
Maybe I didn't search enough.
Well I got the gear all welded up and it looks good. Now I have to grind the teeth to match the original. It seems a diamond burr and rotary grinder does the trick. I'll put some pic up when I get it done.
Got the gear welded up and I ground the teeth with a Harbor Freight rotary tool and a diamond bit. It took some time. I also got a new 5/8 " round piece of steel and drilled the holes. The two pins next to the bushings that hold the gear in place would be too hard to get the roll pins put back in for me. So, I just got some more bushings and ground them down to act as spacers next to the gear so it stays in place. Works very well! All done. Forgot the pics along the way but will take one today of the finished job. The weld job and steel bar was $30 and the bushings about $6 each. Hard to get to but saved alot in labor!
