2003 M-3100SS A/C vacuum fix and weather strip advice

Hi everyone, new to the forum. My wife and I just purchased a 2003 Forest River Sunseeker M-3100SS with 51K miles. I just fixed the infamous defrost only AC issue, where the blend door doesn't work and air always blows out of the defroster only. I found a great article and was able to cut a hole in the passenger fender well and replace a vacuum hose that was worn out. The hose connected a small tee to the vacuum tank and had fallen off, causing a nice vacuum leak and the AC to only go the upper defrost position. This is a great writeup saved me tons of headache and money. I will attach a picture or 2. Here is the article https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...efrosters.html.

I also wanted to ask what is a good adhesive to reattach the weather stripping around our slide. It is coming off at the bottom. It will have to be very strong adhesive. I have included a picture of that as well but it is really just a picture of the strip, but you can see at the bottom it is just hanging there. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Your slide weatherstripping is likely stapled on and some pulled out. Underneath the many flaps of rubber is a harder plastic strip that usually has staples going through it. There is a rubber flap that coversit up. In you picture you can see the "plastic strip" just peaking out the bottom.Click image for larger version

Hi, thanks for replying. I do see the plastic strip. That is what I was trying to re-attach. I don't see any evidence that it was ever stapled, it just looks like it was glued. There are no holes from any staples. Any idea what type of glue was originally used? If staples were used, what type? Thanks again!
