Welcome to the group Bobby,

Tell us how you like your Legend and what floorplan it is, if you like.
We have a Macon, Georgia member who may be close to you.
I've never seen another Legend in California.
Let us know if you have any suggestions or questions.

BTW, I weighted my coach this weekend w/full H20 and 3/4 fuel. I was happily surprised to see the weights well under weight ratings. I only had 12,460 on steer and 25,980 on drive. I wasn't able to weigh sides or all 4 corners. Regardless, this helps me reduce my tire PSI as I had been running much higher PSI due to the wall placard. I'm hoping once I reduce to 95 & 85 on the front & back I can enjoy a smoother ride.

Sportscoach Legend Owners

Just checking in on you all and what's going on in Legend territory.
We are going to Palm Springs on Feb 4 and then to Yuma, AZ to return home on March 14. Our 2009 40 QS is a dream and hope yours is too. Lots of campers think it's new but have never seen another one and I have not either.
Looking forward to any responses out there.

Pretty quiet here. We're weekenders, so spent most trips closer to home (Middle GA). We spent a cold wet New Years up in Chattanooga, after a trip to the Hiawasee Wildlife Refuge to gawk at the wintering cranes & eages.

After experiencing repeated power issues, post trip, had the inverter replaced and the satellite cable box bird nest re-wired and an external hopper satellite input cable installed. We have an in-motion system, but find its often blocked by tree's, so use a hopper type in many set ups. It was a pain, eyesore, and a bit of a risk running the cable through a partially opened window, so will enjoy the new input in the electrical bay under the drivers position.

Hope everyone is enjoying a great start to the New Year. Oh yeah, go Pats!

Just purchased a legend 500-TC in Louisiana with 10,000 miles on it. That makes the total number made at least 5 that I know of. Would love some tips on it from current owners.

Welcome Carminehd,

Happy to see another Legend around.
Tell us about your new, to you, Legend and how we can help you.
It would be nice to know your name and where in LA, purchased and cost, to start with.

I purchased it in Lafayette, Louisiana for $130k. Bringing it home to Rhode Island next month. It really is in great shape, could not let it go. Has been stored indoors since new. I will be storing it indoors when I get it here. Just under 11k miles. I am curious as to the common problems with them or any issues that need attention.

There are a few 500tg members in the group who may be temporarily unavailable so I will start this by saying that it's a very well built unit . You will need to refer to needed maintenance such as chassis lube, fuel filter, fuel separator, oil filter and change, coolant change to start with due to the 8 years of minimal usage. If you watch an average amount of TV then I may suggest you add a TV to the front overhead cabinets for easier viewing from the couches. My 2009 40QS comes with this feature but not yours, for some reason. My kitchen is on a slideout and the drain hose loosens and starts to leak due to the flexing so I would check. Tires should be checked for date, cracking and remaining tread. Roof should be resealed, on an annual basis, to prevent interior leakage. Hope this helps a bit.

Legend 500TG

We have had our 500TG about a year now, and have taken some great trips. I upgraded the TV and radio (must have Sirius) and removed the washer and dryer to make a new cedar lined closet. I have just needed to make some minor repairs here and there, but seem to be having an AC issue now. Got to get that fixed before the Texas heat hits.
