The battery compartment is so tight that I haven’t figured out how to get the house batteries out. I’m hoping someone out there can tell me how to get them out.
Thanks

Can't picture your setup. A photo would help.

When I replaced the 8D starting (chassis) battery on my DP I had to remove the airstrut support on the compartment door in order to fit the battery through the opening. Wasn't hard to remove/replace.
