Our step light has never worked. The first thing I found was that the bulb was missing. It is apparently an odd size and I could not find a match. I finally just bought the complete assembly from the Kwikee people as it wasn't a lot of money. Only then did I look closer and see that the power supply to the light was not hooked up. We are not the first owners, so no idea if it was never wired in or if the previous owner removed the wiring for some reason. It won't take much to run new wires, just hasn't gotten very high on the project list....

I've had this light on my other motor home and to tell you the truth... I'm just not that motivated to fix it.... I don't find them to be of much use. When the weather turns nice, I may crawl under and see if it is an "easy" fix... If not... I will just leave it...

Here is the deal... I don't use that fan much...

I went out and tried it, after opening the cover, but nothing happen with the switch or moving all the controls on the fan. I have 12V at the wall switch and I've checked the Fuse in the fan. All good. I suspect that the fan cover sensor is stuck and not coming up with the cover. I will have to wait until Spring to fool with this, as the motorhome is covered...

Now... If I could only figure out how the light under the steps works. More inspection will have to wait until Spring...

Thanks for the help...
Well I de-winterized the coach for an upcoming trip, next week... Went up on the roof and cycled the "cover sensor" but that did not work... Next I went back up and put some WD-40 in the switch. At first, it still did not work. After about 15 mins, I tried it one more time and wonders of wonders..... it now works. Guess the switch was corroded...

Now... Does anyone know the capacity of the DEF tank? I have the 340hp 6.7ISB Cummins diesel... Can't find the answer in any of the docs that came with the coach...

Thanks..... Don't know why Forest River makes these questions so difficult to get the answer to... You'd think that maybe a "sticker" or something else would be on the tank, light switches, etc...

I have a single switch like that on my Encounter. It controls all the lights in the storage bays.

Try it at night, the lights, at least in the Encounter, are worthless. It's been on my list to upgrade the fixtures to LED's.

As stated above.... It controls the kitchen fan.

I do agree with your comments about the lights. The one in the MBR is terrible... I'm going to look into switching it out to an LED this Summer...
