2017 Forester 3011DS

Hello everyone. Our speakers on the awning outside on our 2017 Forester 3011DS are not working. One is completely not working and the other one has a lot of static.

Question - Are these hard to fix yourself? Not sure they would still be under warranty.

Also - one other question - our AC vent in the ceiling broke. Does anyone have a good website for these replacement parts? Thanks much for everyone's assistance.

Totally unfamiliar with your unit, but it seems that a speaker issue like you describe would likely be a wiring/connection issue. If you are good at yoga you might be able to get positioned under the dash to be able to see or feel the back of the stereo and maybe spot a loose connection. I expect a car stereo shop could help if you can't find anything.
As for a/c roof vent plastic parts, you could try the PPL Motorhome site. They are pretty well equipped and you may be able to find what you need there. Failing that, perhaps the manufacturer could provide some support info.

The speakers are controlled from the Jensen radio/CD/DVD unit above the entrance door. I would look for loose connections there first.

Do the indoor speakers do that same thing?

The awning parts can be found on the internet. There is also documents files to view on installing & maybe you can see where the speaker wires are found! Good luck

Likely the spade connectors at the speaker. Mine were the wrong size for the speaker...
