2020 Leprechaun 220 QB Winterize

I am hoping there are others out there with this model that can help. I just bought it and am learning! It may have some slight differences as it was sold originally to a rental outfit. The manuals and videos supplied by Coachmen are general in nature and I do not have some of the "access panels" they picture. I have found the low point drain valves and there are four of them instead of the three shown in most pictures and videos. Can anyone tell me what each of them are for? I cannot find the water heater "bypass". Anyone know where that is on this model? Also cannot find any fresh water shutoff or the water pump. Any help? I know that is a lot of questions but if anyone has the same model and can help with winterizing ....I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Mike

I am not sure where you are indicating the "hot water tank bypass valve" is. Can you be more specific?

Thanks Mike .... Found It

Tucked back to the left! With an access panel above the valve! I did not see that before. Thanks.

Do you have exactly the same model as I do? There is an access panel (round unscrew black 4") under the bed located next to the power panel (breaker switches) that I cannot figure what it is for. I see hoses all over the place but none with any shutoff valves. Do you know why this access door is there and if there is something I am supposed to use it for? (shut something off or bypass?)

Thanks Mike

So...we are talking about the circular access port under the bed next to the breaker panel, right?

What does this "cleanout" look like? I do not see any valves or such. The only thing I see that looks different than just a lot of hoses is an "L" connector that helps a hose make a dramatic down turn.

Can you tell me more about what I might be looking for? And do I need to do anything to it for winterize?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Mike, Found It!

I see it now. Thanks so much. I am doing everything I can to learn about this motorhome. The "manual" for it is pretty useless, as it is so general. And it seems like everyone else has a different "220 QB" model than mine as I have seen people post pictures of their drains etc. and they look nothing like mine. Mike you seem to know exactly where things are and what they are for. I really appreciate your help. I figure you either own exactly the same model that I have OR you work for Coachmen and know this stuff. In any event, thanks again. Now....I will see if I know enough to "winterize" this thing!

I am not sure exactly which model I have. I may take the outside cover plate apart and see if the model number is below it. Everything in my Leprechaun is "Dometic" brand I think. There was a bag of manuals in the cupboard and the one for the furnace is "DF Series Furnace".

I have found a link online for the service manuals and parts lists for the DF series and here it is: https://documents.dometic.com/search...series+furnace

If you have a Dometic Furnace you can also use that site to find other models.

Does that help?

"shut off valve from fresh water tank to pump"

Hi Mike,

I am using a king of generic checklist to winterize and they have highlighted in yellow (must be important) a step that says: "shut off valve from fresh water tank to pump".

Can you tell me where that valve is on my rig?

Thanks
