Any idea on this switch?
In the panel above the entry door in our 2014 Coachmen Cross Country 404RB there is a switch that I cannot figure out what it goes to. I can't locate any reference to it in the manuals.
Any idea?

On our Forest River fifth wheel we have a switch exactly like that that illuminates the lights on the stairs going to the bedroom. Possibly that will illuminate your entrance steps on the inside?

I've verified that there is another switch for the patio light. Doesn't seem to control any inside light that we can determine.
I will check to see if might control the under-step light. I can say that I don't recall looking there during the "on-off-on-off" clicking session.
I also emailed Nate at Forest River.
My label maker is on stand-by

It could be the switch that controls your step so that it doesn't go in/out every time you open or shut the door.

Just received a response from Nate at Forest River. He says that it is probably the awning light switch. I haven't checked yet, but I am about 99.999% sure he is right.
Wow.. Starting the morning off feeling like an idiot.

You may find that with it switched on, the outside light is on, and the stair light stays on as well... At least that is how it works for me...

Check your ceiling lights. My unit it works like a remote control. If your lights have individual switches turn them on then switch the unknown switch back and forth and see if it controls them.

We had an unlabeled switch near our entry door in our 2015 Prism. Turned out to run a light in the large outside compartment... took some effort since the wires to the light were not connected! Good luck - let us know what you find! ST

Mystery has been solved. The switch is for the main awning light. You can't see the light with the awning retracted as it is in the tube that the awning rolls onto, so that is why I couldn't see it when testing the switch.
