Battery not charging

Hello, I'm new to this group. I need some assistance addressing an electrical issue I am having. We own a 2020 Forest River Cardinal 3930FBX. Recently, I found that my battery was not being re-charged. I had to put an external battery charger. I have been troubleshooting the system, but I can not locate the converter. Is it located behind the fuse panel? Only place I haven't looked. I appreciate the help.

It should be in the outside accessible storage door next to the battery compartment.

Regular battery's for RV have a life of 5 years or less. Constant charging. Constant cleaning of terminals. IF at any time the lead becomes uncovered with water, that will double the death rate. Soon they just will not hold a charge. You don't mention the age or condition of your battery. I was replacing mine like every 4 years. Then I
FINAL changed to AGM Lifeline deep cycle & sealed. No messy cleaning. Completely sealed, no water to add every few months. NO corrosion of the battery compartment. Now these AGM's are EXPENSIVE. BUT worth it. You have no maintenance. YEA!

In your fuse panel are 2 -40 amp fuses. These are the fuses for the charger and inverter. Check them. I had the same problem and that turned out to be the problem.
