Berkshire Diesel Question

We are considering a 36' Berkshire diesel MH.
One question, and I'm sure I'll have more, how much "gunk" gets on the toad from the diesel?
Thanks.

Depends on where your exhaust comes out at. Mine comes out right side (passenger side) and noticed very little. Last MO had exhaust coming out bottom left and noticed a dirty front of car.

It depends on the year. If you are looking at one with a chassis built after 2010 you should have a DEF system. The DEF cleans the gunk and you can't smell the diesel smell. I have a 2011 with DEF and a rear exhaust and I get nothing on the toad. Well I do get dirt and road grime but no diesel gunk. I love the DEF.

Thanks for the replies.
The exaust is on the right side.
And the year of the coach is a 2013.
One item the dealer did show me was the compartment with the tank for the DEF.
As an after thought, I get the road grime and dirt on the Jeep now with the gasser we have. Even with the rock guard on It's kind of unavoidable I think.

Donie I don't think you can get more MH for the money. You will enjoy it.
