BIRD Location

Does anyone know where the BIRD is located on a 2000 Coachmen Santara?

Is a BIRD the same as a battery isolation manager?

If so, my Coachman has it behind a metal panel with thumb screws beside the bottom step just inside the door.

To your question, not sure if it's he same as bird,

Are you talking about the disconnect switch for coach and chassis (two red lights)? Is that the same as a battery isolation manager.

The BIRD and a battery Isolation Manager are the same thing.

I suspect that your 2000 rig was made prior to the introduction of the referenced unit.
