Black water tank won't open '07 Concord

When I pulled handle on black water tank, handle pulled out but tank did not open. What is an easy way if there is one to fix this problem. Grey water tank worked ok.
THANKS

The opening is stopped up or the threads striped on the pull lever. Either way not an easy(stay clean) fix. Push it back in and get a bucket to put under the drain. Uncouple the hose and you can tell from there.

Is the long metal rod still attache to the handle. If so then it pulled out from where it was screwed in to the valve blade. Since this is plastic you may be able to find a log metal screw and attach it to the valve blade enough to open the value. There was a post recently that I can't find now where someone did did this and had instructions and pictures that may help you. maybe someone remembers that thread and can post a link.
