Coachman Encore 380 DS Slide Controller

A friend has a 2005 Coachman Encore (Sportscoach) 380 DS with a bedroom slide that wont operate. I've checked the main fuse in the bathroom panel and it's good. I can hear the relay click, but the slide won't move either way. I've verified the slide isn't jammed as I can operate it manually with a ratchet. I've also verified the motor is good by 1) Removing it and connecting it directly to 12 VDC and 2) by reinstalling it and connecting it directly to 12 VDC to operate the slide. What I've discovered is that there's only about 7 VDC available to the motor when the switch is pressed. This leads me to believe there's an issue with the slide controller. However, for the life of me I can't find a controller for the living room or bedroom slides. Does anyone have any idea where it might be located?

I don't know where the controller is, but I would be looking at the connections (particularly the common grounds) for corrosion with that low voltage reading.

Thanks, I have already removed, cleaned and tightened as many as I could find. I did discover several "loose" connections but that didn't solve the problem. I also found several relays with corroded connections and cleaned those as well. Still no joy.

Since no one else jumped it...you just have to look. behind cabinets, under beds etc. One of mine is located on the wall beside the water pump, which is under the fridge.

Some rigs have them in the outside storage. Look all around in the storage areas.

I still haven't found it. As I continue to investigate, I'm beginning to believe it doesn't use a controller. I think it just uses the wall switches and relays to operate the single motor.

Then, power to the motor? Can you remove the motor and bench test it?
