Question Coachmen Mirada 290KS - Wipers

My windscreen wipers do not operate relaiably on the intermittment positions - may operate continuosly, may operate intermittently but not consistently. Also the washers some times will not turn off and I have to stop the vehicle and turn the ignition off nto stop them.

I have replaced the multi function switch on the steering collumn and also the wiper contro box without any success.

I suspect that it may be an earthing problem but have not been able to solve it.

I know of another owner of an identical Mirada who has had the same problem.

Has anyone out there experienced this problem or have any suggestions to make? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have and found that water gets into the control box.

Spray WD-40 into the box and it will displace the moisture.

Unplug and plug in all wiring contacts you can find to the control box to make sure you have good electrical connections.

Hope this works for you as it did for me.
