Sounds like the hose connection check valve is not holding.

I have a 2002 coachmen Mirada Same water system. I was wondering if it has a electric water heater I removed the drawers and there is a receptacle for it but no visible cord. Is it hidden or is my water heater simply propane only?

My ole Mirada was propane only. However, my Southwind also has an electric element. It screws into where the water drain plug is.
