construction type

I'm looking at possibly buying a 96 Coachman Santarra 37' on a ford chassis.
I currently have an 85 Holiday Rambler 33' on a GM P30.

I'm wondering how the Coachman is constructed, wood or aluminum frame?
I was able to find they have a rubber roof and fiberglass skin. is that good or bad?

The HR is all aluminum frame, roof & skin so I'm not sure how to inspect this Coachman.
any advice would be helpful.

thanks.

Not sure if it helps but my 93 Coachman has alu for a frame I had it all apart this summer. to kinda fix my de-laminated sides. so it goes fibergalss sheeting/panels Foam core and 1/8 inch Luwan for the inner walls.
Open all the cabinets and feel for dampness, look for any side panel that seems to be delaminating. If its starting to de-lam it has a leak somewhere.the rubber roof is not so hard to take care of. one coat of coool seal primer and two coats of cool seal it should not leak after that. look at your seals around the thru the roof vents make sure the seal still looks good.Ive since sold my old C and bought a pusher I love it had it for two weeks and it went into storage till April.
