RV Name RE Navy

Being a retired Navy Submariner I went with a suggestion from my daughter (she does have a sense of humor).

Bella - 2018 Dynamax Isata 5

We named our 2018 Dynamax Isata 5 DS36 "Bella". She is a beauty and we named our 2004 Yellow Jeep Wrangler "Bella Bee". We bought some boat decals that match our paint schemes on both vehicles and put the names on them. Fun, fun, fun. Can't wait to retire but I have another 9 years unless we win the lottery or something equivalent. Enjoying it now though...

Shortcut

My wife suggested we name our recently pruchased 2005 Itaska Horizon 'Shortcut' since we have had many interesting experiences and discovery's when we have tried to take shortcuts.

HervéVR is the name of our 2012 Lexington 265DS.

Hervé sounds like the french prononciation of: R and V for Recreational Vehicle. Plus is is the name my passed father in law.

VR for the french designation: Véhicule Récréatif.

Was suggested by our older grandchild.

I have named our 2013 Sunseeker the Wonderer, because it’s what we do and it’s what the RV does.

Frank

While the hubby was gone on a hunting trip, I decided to take our 'new to us' RV on a little trip. I had to prove to myself I could do it on my own if I wanted to take a grandkid or two out alone.

I went up to Leelanau State Park and set up camp. I took a picture and sent it to the hubby, I knew he would be surprised.

Since I was alone and a bit nervous, I put two chairs by the campfire to make it look like I wasn't.
The hubby's reply.....who are you camping with?
Me: Frank.

The name stuck. Now I love to tell him, Frankie and I are going camping, but he's welcome to join us....

Mine is named Ted. It's a 2018 Cherokee Grey Wolf 29TE that had "LIMITED" written on it with vinyl lettering in a few places. I guess it was a limited production run or something. The letters by the door started peeling off, so I started removing them. I pulled off a few letters and my neighbor at the time walked up and started up a conversation. When we were done talking, I went back to continue taking off all the letters and noticed that I took off "LIMI" but "TED" was still stuck on and not peeling.

I left TED on there and it's still stuck on to this day. I guess you could call it fate.

I call ours "Trippin". Because we always look forward to our next one and we soon plan to be FT or nearly FT in it in a few years.

I'm thinking about getting some lettering done on the back ramp that says "Just Trippin'". Hesitant currently as I'm half scared LEO's might take that the wrong way if I get pulled over and bring in the drug dogs, lol.

We named ours KAMPURR as we camp in it and we take Siamese cat with us. License plates reflect same.
