Faulty switches

I know this is probably not the right place to ask this question but I cannot FIND the right spot so here goes. We have a 2002 Georgie Boy Suite which we absolutely love. The question is this - we have 2 switches INSIDE the coach that we can use to start the generator. One on the dash and one on the panel with all the other switches. Can't think what you call it but it is where we can see the levels of the propane, etc. Anyway, neither of these switches work. They DID once but won't anymore. Could that be fuses? If not fuses, what could it be. The generator works when we start it outside but I don't want to have to stop and go outside and start the generator when we're going down the road. Any suggestions? And again, I apologize for posting this on this page.

Switches do go bad. I'd remove the switch and test it with a multi-meter.

It is most likely a connection between the generator and the switch closest to the generator. I would start by checking the connectors in the generator compartment.
