I have joined your group and bought a 2014 Forest River Charleston 430BH. I have had a little better luck than you so far though, since January we have put over 7,000 miles on her with just a few small issues. I love the 450 hp engine, Freightliner tag axle chassis, and 3 air conditioners.

2014 Forest River Charleston here. Slide problems - two top broken cables for example. Occasionally the coach doesn't air up properly; but setting the jacks and retracting fixes that. I do have an annoying rain leak that I'm having a devil of a time tracking down. The drawer/cabinet catches are the cheap plastic ones. They break often. I'm seriously considering changing them all out for better brass catches.
Overall, happy with the Charleston. It drives like an absolute dream. I'll never have a coach without a Tag axle. The ride is quiet, powerful, and we have a great inside layout. Classy coach at a good price. I'm always surprised I don't see more Charlestons out there.
