Forest River Sunseeker 2400S MBS Class Action Lawsuit

I purchased a brand new 2017 Forest River Sunseeker 2400S MBS in Orlando FL. It came with numerous problems. From the slide-out being misaligned, that would gauge huge holes into the floor. It would allow mice and rats in. Water pipe breaking in the wall. Multiple large roof leaks. The list is extensive.

The inside ladder hardware that is located on the bunk area that the ladder hooks to in my coach malfunctioned. Forest River used extremely small screws. While crawling on the ladder the screws came out and I fell hurting my back and chipping my tooth.

I filed a lawsuit in Orange County Florida for gross negligence.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to message me.

No, on my Sunseeker there are two metal clips/hooks that the interior ladder clips to so that you can use the ladder to climb up to the bunk area. The screws that hold the metal clips in place just fell out. The screws are tinny. They screwed the screws right into the bunk. If I was going to do this in my home I would at least minimally add locking screws and anchors. It's a severe, dangerous safety hazard!

Sounds like typical Forest River construction.

sad to hear.... but... sounds like our coachman prism 17 ...
i tried to call and wrote coachman... -0- response.
dealer just laughed...

and they thought i'd be back to trade up!!
i did give them a chance... dumb me...
then dealer told me there was a real problem selling the new prisms therefore the trade in would be very low!

i traded it in to a a tiffin dealer...
it was advertised on two rv websites and zero response. no inquiries. nothing.
so, i suspect the world has learned about the poor quality.

Maybe if you'd spent some time look'n stuff over, you'd found some problems......and maybe that's why it was still sitting there.....
