Fuel Pump

Hello All,

New to the forum and new to owning an RV. Trying to tune up my Onan Microlite 4000 and ran into a little bit of a dilemma in regards to the proper fuel pump. So the fuel pump I removed says to only replace with an A047N926 (flow rate of 15-25 at a PSI of 3.25) My parts manual identifies the pump as an A029F889 (flow rate of also 15-25 and psi range of 2.5-4). So my question would be would either of these models work? Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.

The Flow rate is the same and the psi range falls within the parameter. I'd say go for it.
I just replaced mine on my Onan 10K. I took out the part and googled what ever numbers I found. I also looked up what part I would need and just to make sure I cross referenced with other brands, but that resulted in being Overkill. LOL.
BTW the sell "Maintenance kits" too, where you get a fuel filter, and air filter and oil filter. Since you're servicing your genny you might as well do the whole shabang....and change the oil while at it. It's pretty easy.
OR
"You can call the Cummins-Onan Customer & Technical Support line at 800-343-7357. Support is available Monday through Friday, 7am - 7pm Eastern Standard Time, except for holidays.
Hope this helps.
