I put them in a couple of my overheads and they are a little bit brighter than the halogens. Only thing is they are not dimmable.Newmar taps the 6 volt battery side for MOOD lighting. They were just two pins with the leds on a card. Fit great. no heat.

I found LEDs that look like they would fit, I'll have to find out just what bulb I have and then check cross reference. they run in the $11 each range. So that would be 13 X 11 or $143 plus tax. I don't know if it's worth that much to me.

I just replaced the five halogen bulbs left to replace with LED's (total of 17 in the trailer). I specified and provided G4 bulb marine lights in the manufacture of our custom built teardrop trailer. I have to say the LED's are considerably brighter and the color temperature is close to the 3200 angstrom of a warm white bulb.
