Yes, you’ll need to add a load resister.

Or replace the flasher, one that old might still be in the fuse block in the form of a 2 or 3 terminal metal or plastic cylinder.

Not getting the usefulness of LED's in tail and marker lights. The lenses are made to have the correct color and intensity with the bulbs they came with. Changing to LED's generally is more trouble than it's worth in that application.

I replaced with LEDs in my previous 2000 Winnebago and didn't like it, so I changed them back. The lights were the same as those used in the 70's on rvs. The lens would get dirt and water inside so bad that they would not shine through. I installed LED light strips above each taillight. They appear clear in the photo but, they have red LEDs when they turn on.

You can purchase the resistors that Ken suggested at most auto parts stores.

You can buy LED replacements with built-in resistors. I know Amazon has them, but they are probably also available locally. Does having the resistors defeat the purpose of LEDs - do you get less draw from the electrical system?
