Unhappy Hello and Need Help

I have had a small C - Minnie Winnie - with no slides for several years, but we just upgraded to a 2011 Georgetown 350TS; it was delivered 2 days ago, so I haven't participated in this forum previously. Yesterday, I opened slides just fine (when I inspected the RV, they went in and out just fine), but when I went to put them in, the main slide came all the way in, the bunks came in further on the top than the bottom and stopped, the bedroom is still out. Engine was off, plugged into shore line. I have the owner's manual but can't find where the manual retractor is - under the rig? in a storage compartment?

I had planned on bringing this in for a full bumper to bumper inspection, but can't drive down the road like this. Can anyone give me some advice on how to get these back in so I can drive it down the road?

Thank you so much!

Carol, I suspect you may have two problems. The first, and most important is that your house batteries may somehow have become weak. My rig does this once in awhile and I have to charge up the house batteries to make it work again.
The second problem is the top/bottom misalignment. You can drive it to the repair facility to have them look at this once you fix the "out" slide problem.
Now, to find the manual retractor, you are most likely going to have to look under the elevated portion of your slideout for the mechanism...at least that's how mine works...it's under the bed. You can get into trouble if you don't do it right, so be careful and READ the manual on this. There should be a bolt head on the end of the motor shaft you can turn, once you have disconnected the wiring as instructed. Since it's geared, you may have to turn it the opposite way you think you should. Good luck to you!

Thanks. I hadn't thought to look under the bed - I was looking outside in the storage bins. I'm going back out in a few minutes and will check that out.
