help on bypass..please!

I have a '98 Coachmen Catalina Sport 240mb.....I want to drain and bypass the water heater as I don't use it and the water in it goes bad.. I have a screwed in small panel to access some valves underneath the bed..they seem to be pull up or push down type with black t-type handles. If any of you have this model..PLEASE ADVISE before I do something wrong! Thanks..Janalee
P.S. there is no access to the back of the WH w/o removing the mattress to lift the screwed down bed board so thats out!

If you have a water heater by pass for winterizing, you could use that valve. It's often labeled as such. Turning that handle so it's perpendicular to the water line will turn it off. Then you have to open the outside water heater cover and using a 1 1/8" socket remove the drain plug. As long as the one way valves on the heater work, that should shut it off. A simpler solution would be to turn on the hot faucet occasionally and run fresher water into the tank. You don't need to turn on the heat function, just run water through it.

The valves under the bed are probably the low point drain valves (maybe)

Your water heater valves (if you have them) should be directly behind your water heater. Go outside, find your water heater, then come back inside and look around behind drawers and under cabinets.

This is where mine are, I had to repair them right after I bought it as one of them was broke.
