Help with access to furnace.

Is there a secret way to access the furnace for maintenance on a 26RK? The hatch from the bedroom on mine reveals nothing but the sealed bottom of the unit. All hoses, wires, lines, vents are facing the back of the shower. Its like they installed the wrong furnace, or the correct one the wrong way.

Unless there is another secret passage.

Honestly, it looks like they installed a furnace and built a trailer around it.

FWIW, I think my sail switch failed.

Try taking the cover off where the exhaust vent is, should swing down and furnace can be accessed or removed and fixed as necessary

On line photos of 2020 Forest River Vibe 26RK show furnace Intake/Exhaust Ports on curbside just above rear tire area.
That would put furnace under/inside kitchen sink cabinet area....not bedroom

It would help if you posted your RV in signature line for future postings

Also....what furnace brand/model is this???
Suburban/Atwood etc

If it is like my Forest River 27RKS, there is return vent/grill in the side of the cabinet next to the sink. Remove the grill you'll see the water pump, the furnace is behind the water pump.Click image for larger version

Did you check kitchen sink cabinet area??

Furnace intake/exhaust ports are on drivers side....??

Then furnace would be under the closet floor and most likely have to be removed for servicing if no removable access panel on exterior where ports are

What Brand/Model is furnace??

On line photo 2020 Vibe 26RK....passenger/curbside
Furnace intake/exhaust just above rear tire

I would expect there is an access panel in the ward or under the bathroom sink then.

Exterior photo shows that would be where Suburban Water Heater is located

Take some exterior photos of where the intake/exhaust furnace ports are and post them

Postm the year, manufacturer model name, and full model number would help others figure out exactly what you have. There are many versions of 26RK.

Wonder if this is one of those 'east coast' ---'west coast' models
Same Model Number but different layouts based on which region it is sold in????

That pic does look like might be furnace...can see the flex ducts
Should be a means of removing that cover
Does it 'snap' on/off for access???
What is that 'object' on left side.....catch release??

This is intriguing....
2020 Forest River VIBE 26RK On-line photos do NOT match your descriptions on furnace and water heater locations.

Floorplan matches

Please post complete model and photos of exteriors
