NXR, Ray, thanks for an excellent post

Not positive, and I dont want to slam TireMinder or get anyone riled up, but I don't think I can set my low tire pressure threshold on my TireMinder i10. It might be I just accepted the defaults.

Need to check my manual,

I think the low pressure warning is set at a percentage of each tires baseline. I'll have to do the math on where that puts me in the danger zone of a flat if that's the case.

What brand TPMS are you using?

Chris

EDIT

Refreshed my memory (see picture of manual below on alerts) on my TireMinder i10 TPMS and feel more comfortable on my low tire pressure warnings. Yes, the i10 does the low tire pressure monitoring calculation for me off of my baselines. What it could do better at is more frequent checking. Might be in a position where I hear an explosion in a catastrophic blow out before I get a warning but that could happen on any TPMS, right?
