Installing after market genset in Lexington
I just purchased a 2008 Lexington 235 RV that is generator ready and I bought a used onan 4k generator out of a Fleetwood that I hope to install. I have an empty compartment with all the wires there but no frame for it. The problem is I will have to have brackets or a frame manufactured and I would like to know if anyone else has done so and how it was done. Failing that it would help if anyone has the same type of unit with a factory installation of the same type of genset. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My local RV dealers don't seem to keen on taking on this task . Thanks for any help
