Inverters

I have a Class A 2019 Georgetown 5 36b and have searched everywhere, every corner, every inch and can not find the inverter. I need to find to troubleshoot. Anyone have any idea where the inverter is on my model??????

I have zero knowledge of your make/model, but inverters are usually 2-6 feet from house battery tray and are often mounted up between your frame rails. Look behind battery tray bay and adjacent bays, up between frame rails. Mine resides on a steel shelf, so you may need to follow cables from house batteries.

I have called Forest River numerous times in the last two weeks, main office and the regional guys and all I get is voicemail and no return calls. So much for owners support.

Inverters convert 12 volts into 120 volts. It takes 10 times the amps to do it, so they are often near the batteries.

If it has a large inverter, there will be 2 large cables, positive and negative, going to it from the battery area.
Probably two of the largest in the RV.

If your looking for an inverter for a residential fridge, They are smaller and use smaller cables, still a pair of them.

Found it. For those that have the same model, it is located under the kitchen sink, at the bottom behind the 12v panel fuse panel. Need to take off the front panel to obtain access. Who would have thought.

Hate to ask , but your description sounds more like a " converter " than an inverter .
Do you have make and model information?
