Key Fobs

Hi All - I will start here and "you" can send me to another forum if necessary.
I know some folks that have purchased a new Class C on a Ford chassis and the key fobs do not work. They have not worked from the time they picked up the coach. The dealer is working with them to resolve the issue. The first night they were out in the coach, they woke up to the sound of the door locks locking and unlocking. The owner eventually found the fob module under the driver side floor and was able to disconnect it. Everything still works, just not with the fob. The dealer seems to be caught between the chassis maker and the coach maker - do one more test to try to find out who is responsible. In the meantime they are using the coach. Seems to me the fob module would be installed by the chassis maker.
Anyone out there have the same situation??
Thanks
Les

I would suggest the issue belongs to Ford however, has an attempt to sync the fob back to the vehicle been attempted? That is what I had to do with mine, although it is older but likely still the same issue. ~Craig

I agree with you that this would be a chassis manufacturer issue. As I mentioned, the seller of the coach is working to resolve the issue. I do not recall what has been done to resolve the issue electronically. The coach is still usable. I decided to post this to see if there are others that have had the same problem.

I will pass this information along. Since the coach is new, and the fobs have never worked, the owner is leaving the solution up to the dealer.

Thanks
