Leprechaun 260DS Entertainment Center

Good Morning. We have a 2017 260DS that has the Entertainment Center instead of the Overhead Bunk. Our problem is that when sitting in the Recliners with Slide Out the TV is mostly blocked from the seat directly behind the Drivers Seat and Partially blocked from the other recliner. Has anyone fixed this problem? I contacted Coachmen and was told this which I really don't think is a good enough answer. I would PREFER they fix it.

Ms. Alcorn - Thank you for the inquiry regarding your Leprechaun motorhome. We regret to hear that the design of the front entertainment center has not met your expectations. The 260DS was originally designed with the swing out TV and viewing from the seating positions seemed to be adequate most seating positions due to the adjustability of the swing arm assembly. The fixed position of the TV on the front entertainment center gives less flexibility. We sincerely appreciate the feedback and a copy of your comments will be sent to the Engineering team for their review for future products.

As far as suggestions from our end, perhaps an extending/adjustable arm or bracket may be of help. The only concern that comes mind is being able to lock in place during travel, especially with little room around the TV cabinet opening. You may find a bracket that works at a local home improvement or big box store.

We appreciate your business and feedback. Customer input plays a vital part in the development and improvement of our products and sincerely appreciate you sharing your experience with us. Please let us know if you have any other questions and we can be of assistance. We wish you and your family many safe and wonderful travels in your Coachmen Leprechaun.

Sincerely,

Ron Ross

Bummer, we have the tv on the arm as our 260DS has the overhead bunk. I guess the only solution would be to put the tv on a swing out bracket. Some engineers pour planning! Unfortunately most RV designers don't own RVs so they miss things like you tv viewing. Good luck with a fix.
