Mystery Blue Light in Kitchen

I've searched this forum and other owner forums on the web but have been unable to find anything regarding the purpose of the switch on the bottom of the overhead cabinet in the kitchen that is next to the light switch but this questionable switch is blue and lights up blue when turned on. The dealer service where I bought this brand new 2022 Coachmen Cross Trail (not Cross Trek) does not know (and don't care). Nothing seems to turn on or turn off when using the switch. Forest River Owners website is a joke, no help there at all. No answer to emails sent to service, etc.

So, anyone know what this mystery blue switch is for?

By chance do you have a WiFi Ranger? We had a switch in our control center for the one in our Cardinal that turned it on and off. Different rig, but just a guess.

That's for the "Blue Light Special" when you are near a Walmart.

I have that same blue light in my cross trek. As another has stated I believe it is for the wifi.

Is it the indicator for the power converter. I have one like that that comes on when using shore power, goes off when using battery. Nitro XLR

WiFi Ranger

Ah ha, it IS a switch to turn on the WiFiRanger. I found a small label on the wall behind the TV (seriously!?) labeled WifiRanger with the name of the network, the password and ID for the control panel. I grabbed my phone turned on WiFi and the Ranger appeared. I logged in okay but, of course, no internet. So I grabbed my PC and my NightHawk Hot Spot and was able to connect to the internet through the WiFiRanger. OMG!! I'm at home in my driveway. The best signal I can get from my house is -87dbm (and thats only on a really good day). Through the WiFiRanger I'm getting -58dbm. WOW, from now on I'll be sitting in my RV while on the internet at home!

Thanks for the input and solutions. I love the IRV forums. I haven't seen a KMart store in years but I do remember those Blue Light Specials.

That was a test to see if anybody was paying attention.

WiFi in the driveway is great especially when you need peace, quiet and some alone time.

USA Today reported in April that there were only three left in the country.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money...es/7274962001/

The last one in California closed in December 2021.
