Picking up the new Berkshire 400QL Saturday

Hi:

I pick up our first Class A this Saturday. I've always owned fifth wheels.

Is there anything I should watch for on the walk thru, or check on my own before taking delivery of this?

I know when I purchase a car or truck, they include a full tank of fuel. Is the same usually true for a Class A ?

(Yes, pictures will be posted once I have her home)

Thanks !

I doubt if the dealer will include a full tank of gas.

As for the PDI, check everything. Don't finalize the paperwork, had over your money, and take delivery until all has been inspected and resolutions made.

Congrats to you. Our fuel was filled for us. That is the least they can do. Just ask them if it's full.

If possible take video of the PDI and as others have said, make sure you are happy with what you see and that ALL issues are resolved before you leave and hand over the $$$.

Enjoy your new rig. We've had great luck with our Berk.

Most of us who have the Berkshires are pretty happy with our purchases. One of the main reasons you may not see as many glowing posts here about the Berkshires is that most of the owners are on the Forest River Owners Group forums. The one most common expression we hear from Berkshire owners is that it is the "best bang for a buck."

Yes this. LOOOOVVE our 2014 400BH. If I have questions or whatnot my first go to the the FR group. And definitely more bang for the buck! We were deciding between a Phaeton and the Berkshire (both had bunks) we liked the Berk floorplan better and for about $100,000 less it had everything we wanted, standard! We traded in a Tiffin Zephyr for our Berk, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
