When the OEM Samsung (I think it was) microwave died in our ‘02 coach, I first replaced it with a convection/microwave unit from RecPro. It died within a month and interestingly, RecPro refunded our money in full and didn’t want the failed unit back. FWIW - they were out of stock on replacements and didn’t have any idea when stock would be replenished.
On the search again, I found a Dometic convection/microwave to replace it with.
Key features I used in the search was physical size of the actual “box” of the unit, and that it came with a faceplate that would cover the hole for the original oven.
The cabinet space for either oven was never an issue. The framed hole for where the oven went had to be modified slightly for the RecPro unit, and a little more for the Dometic.
Also with the Dometic I had to modify the blocks inside of the cabinet space that the unit sat on, slightly shortening them.
Our coach wasn’t built for the microwave unit (or combo unit as we have) to exhaust out the rear, and neither of the units we bought had that capability. It’s a feature I would have liked.
My reason for the combo unit is I don’t like how the Atwood oven is built and we could use that space for storage.
Not a direct experience for the issue your facing but I felt the story might provide some thought for you.
