Sportscoach Legend '07 SC40QS Remove Cieling Panel

I need access to the antenna wires, replacing old in motion dome with Winegard Trav'ler 1000. Looks like snapping off the spacers between the panels is going to be necessary, wondering if I'm going to have to remove some cabinets to get "under" the panels to get to those wires.. anyone done this?

MAJOR TIA for any help!!

Welcome Major Tia,
My 2009 SC Legend 40QS Dome was replaced by a Winegard Traveler by Camping World.
My front TV is LED so he took TV off and Sat off and had access for new cables.
By the way, it works great and automatically updates software just like at home.
Easy Pesey.

Steve, do you remember if he came in from above with the new cables right above the front cap (the area where all the wires are and you can see the backside of the wiper mechanism)

I'm thinking that rather than attempting to follow the old channel which runs from the center where the dome was, to the drivers side and then forward, would be a MAJOR pita to get to them.. looking like running the new wires from the traveler to the inside via new hole in top of front cap, just forward of the cross member above celling is the fastest/best way.

Another question: What Dish box are you running? I bought the DPH42 and am planning on using my at-home Hopper3 and two Joey's to power three TV's... I've read here (I think) and elsewhere that this setup works just like at home.. FINGERS CROSSED!

The Sat was placed at the same location as the old dome so no cables showing on roof or inside ceiling. Cables come from top to front cabinet to Dish sat controller box then to Dish Sat receiver etc.
Sorry but I was not present at installation. I have (2) 211z receivers only so let me know how your setup works for you works for you.
