Tail light replacement 2004 Coachmen Santara Gran

Rear signal light out. Round lenses, No screws in them and some kind of rubber seal or grommet around the edges. How do I open this up to replace the bulb? FWIW Santara appears identical to the 2006-06 Aurora. Also what type of bulb?

I suspect they are sealed units. The rubber ring holds the whole light assembly in, you pop the light out, and put in a whole new light assembly, the bulb is sealed inside. (I suggest replacing with LED)

You generally will need to find a replacement of the same diameter, and hopefully the same plug (it you'll have to re-wire it). You can find them on Amazon and specialty sites like https://www.truck-lite.com/, and probably some RV Supply websites.

The sizes and plugs are pretty universal so there is a good chance you can find a direct drop in replacement.

You're welcome!

Truck Lite can be spendy so you may want to look around a bit.

I have found replacements at NAPA and OReilly auto parts. I push the light through to the inside and unplug. Take the light with you, don’t think you will have a problem locating. I did find that a little liquid soap on the rubber seal helped reinstalling.
