Think I may have a leak in my Coachmen catalina 281 bhs

So last night I was minding my own business taking a quick shower when I saw a spider web looking crack on the wall of the shower, I pressed on the crack and found it was a little soft/the wall went in. The rest of the wall is solid.

The crack is on the back wall of the shower, its not right at the top corner but its about 3' away. I have it taped up right now as I still need to use my shower.

Would it be okay to tape it up and just monitor/ feel around the crack to see if the 'mushyness' spot is getting bigger? Or is it just going to get worse and worse?

BTW I am a fulltimer rv'er, and this is my first rv so I am fairly green so to speak. I am in a very rainy place (Sechelt, BC) but I do run a 30 pint dehumidified at all times and I have 2 of those pellet type dehumidifiers in the bathroom.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Can you post a picture of where the leak is at? I am taking from your post that the shower plastic wall itself is cracked, correct? If so call the manufacture of the plastic wall and see what kit they recommend.

I called the manufacture of the plastic shower stall my sister had, that cracked, and they sent her a brand new complete shower wall at no charge. Even shipping was free.

Thank you for the reply.

I tried posting a picture off my phone but it did not upload, when i get to use a desktop computer i will try then.

Was it quite the job to replace the plastic? I am not quite sure who supplies the shower walls for the santara but I will look it up in my manual tomorrow.

Yes, the plastic shower wall has a quarter sized crack, and the crack looks like a spiders legs. I think a quarter in USD would be equal to a 50 cent coin size

It seems like water has gotten in there. I would look up Composet Products. They have a lot of options that are relatively cheap and easy fixes
