Thor Aria Vs Berkshire

We are looking to go full timing and have been looking at new (no used) MH and 5ers. We may have it narrowed down to the Thor Aria 3901 and the Forest River Berkshire 39A or 39B. There are also 2 Forest River RiverStone 5ers we like, but this question is more for the MH’s. Between these 2 which is the better quality? We will be traveling north in the summer and south in the winter, staying for 2-4 weeks before moving to the next site. We do have a toad and I know both will have no problem towing. We did have a dealer say he might be able to get us a 2019 Tiffin Red 37BA for around 220K, but I’m not holding my breath for that.

When we were shopping for our new rig we looked at the Venetian, Berkshire, Tiffin and Fleetwood. Overall we were not impressed with the build quality of the Venetian and Berkshire. The Tiffin Phaeton was ideal but we couldn't get it at the price we wanted to pay. So we settled for a Fleetwood Discovery which we felt offered the best bang for the buck.

One of our camping buddies bought a Venetian and it has spent more time in the shop than on the road. They have slide issues, Firefly issues, defective fireplace, and the radio/navigation system hasn't worked since new. I've been encouraging them to take it back to the factory and have all the issues resolved.

I would suggest you look at Winnebagos, Fleetwood and Tiffins. Ive sold the Berkshires and Thor products, you’ll get better quality and support with the others
