Using two water filters

Is it ok to use a Clear2O filter along with the filter that came with my rig inside my pass thru together? Will this reduce water pressure?

It’s a good idea. As an example, my coach has a “whole system” filter, and the fridge has a pair of filters - one for the ice maker and one for the water in the door. No noticeable restriction, and double filtering, so the water is always good.

Also water pressure in parks is often too high, so you should be using a pressure regulator. Fixtures in RVs are usually not all that robust. I was in a park last week that has 110psi! If you get an adjustable one, you can compensate for any restriction the filters might cause, but I’ve found these filters don’t slow things down much.

If you're going to use two filters they would ideally be two different sizes (the size of the particles being filter), with the smaller one being the second. Or use filters with different element types to capture different impurities. If you use two identical filters then the second one in the flow has nothing (or very little) to do because the first filter caught everything already. The 'larger' filter is first, then the smaller filter is behind that.
I use one of those basic whole house filters on all incoming water, then have a charcoal filter on the drinking water faucet and ice maker line.

x2 on this - good advice to get the most out of your filtering.

I think OP understood this. His question may have been will the smaller diameter filter (say 2 micron following a 5 micron) lessen water pressure or flow to the coach. Some parks have low water pressure to begin with.

Thanks for the advice. I do have a regulator. I have the clear2o to go on the spigot outside, which is solid carbon. In my pass thru there is a compartment with a housing that takes a activated loose carbon filter. The salesman said that a lot of people have been complaining that it leaks or when changing water gets in the pass thru. I may just use the clear20 and bypass that.
