I have Bluetooth in my truck so my wife just calls me and I'm hands free and she don't have to yell.

radios are good

I used to tow a 24 foot boat behind our motorhome. One day when were going to lake Shasta, we stopped for gas in the boat. the station was really busy that day (hot and beautiful at the lake) I had to pull into a lane that put the fuel filler of the boat far away from the pump. So I got the bright idea that I'd back the boat at an angle to make filling easier. Sent my wife out to watch and "yell" directions. every one in the station thought that she was angry at me cause of the loud attempts to tell me instructions. Well--- when I went into the store to pay I noticed every one at the other pumps had left!

That's when I thought I need to use radios and have been very happy with that idea ever since. Much less embarrassing and people sometimes were impressed when they saw us smoothly back into various places.

So now with the 40 footer we still use the radio to great advantage, I like that sometime I can have the DW standing some where safe and yet can see to give me the all clear. I especially appreciate when someone enters my path that I don't see and she can stop me when that happens too. So some times even when I can see to get into the slot I have her out there as the safety lookout.
